Hey! I Lost!

Ok, well, I haven't been tracking anything, but I started meds 10 days ago and here are my weight results:

Beginning:
183 lbs 43% body fat

10 days later:
178 lbs 40% body fat

5 POUNDS LOST 3% BODY FAT LOST HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!

I haven't really been eating much quantity... but, here is a quick run-down on the quality:
chinese take-out, pizza delivery, pork sauage w/scrambled eggs & cheese, grands bisquits, pork country ribs, rib eye steak, tri tip steak, mexican take out, white chocolate mochas.... um, yeah.... none of that screams weight LOSS.... topamax is a gift from the heavens..... :)

Week Two~ Day One

First and foremost....I LOST 3 POUNDS THIS WEEK!!!!! Yippeeeeeee!

Ok, it was a super manic day, so I didn't eat much.....see the correlation: less food=more mania = less food......

And, that was it. Zero water, though. I usually drink a ton of water even when not dieting, so that is odd for me.

Day Seven~Shannin

Yesterday I was in a very manic and mixed state. I didn't eat or drink anything besides a latte until 4:30pm...t.hen I had another latte. When I got home from school, I saw the chinese left overs and couldn't stop myself....I ate all of it. SHIT.

Day Six~Shannin

So, yesterday sucked. If anyone reads my journal blog, it explains everything. (Does anyone even read this blog?) Anyway.....I ordered from my fav chinese take out (I even have their number saved in my cell) and waited anxiously like I used to wait for a pill or for coke. My heart racing as I ordered. Debating the entire time I was waiting.....call and cancel....you only have $100 bill, let them come and then take it back because they can't give you change.....But, they could give me change. I took it into the kitchen; shaking, irritable...... Yes, when I say I am addicted to food, it is no joke. Now I feel awful about my decision; waking with a food hangover. When I did WW successfully, I always had one big "cheat" meal a week, and still lost wieght. So, hubby says I shouldn't worry about it. If I deprive myself, I will end up giving up. So, anyway...that was day six. I'm gonna go drink six glasses of diet and cleansing teas....

Day Four and Five ~Shannin

Since I know I won't be eating anymore today, I am going to list yesterday and today's food journal......I feel like I am doing well. I have been on program for 9 days...but, started core five days ago....So, I am waiting until 7 days on Core to weigh in....I am hoping for at least 2 pounds...if not, I give up! ;)

Day four~ 11/4/05
2 eggs
2 slices turkey bacon
1/8c. 2% cheese (1pt)

5 bites chili cheese soup

98% fat free beef barley soup

chicken breast
broccoli/cauliflower mix

Day five~ 11/5/05

2oz sausage (3pts!)

rib eye steak (broiled and trimmed)
1 red potato (boiled, plain)

So...I have 9 points to use for Sunday and Monday...I can do it! I need to drink more water, though. I have been good until today. For some reason, it was all about caffiene today.

Day Three~Shannin

Doing pretty good, I think. I don't have a scale yet, so who knows! I feel thinner, probably more due to the lack of processed and white foods I have been eating. I am getting pretty hungry at about 8pm though. That sucks. It is actual hunger, not a craving. In fact, I can't even think of what it is I want, but my tummy growls. Last night, I had to give in I was feeling so sick....But, I ate chicken, so all was not lost!

2oz soyrizo (yummy chirizo soy substitute)
2 eggs
1/8 cup 2% cheese (1pt)

Lg. Latte (gotta get my milk in somehow since I hate milk!)

Day two of Core went pretty well. I used a lot of points...I wasn't planning on cheese being so many points, and I had to have pie again!

2 eggs

1oz monterey jack cheese (3 points)

Lg Latte (I am soooo excited...this is on Core!)

I also drank more than my required water, and four cups of dieters and cleansing teas. I feel like I finally have some motivation to do this...Hurray!

Core Day One, Shannin

I got a comment that mentioned that I was "chubby". It has made a huge impact, ringing over and over in my ears "you're chubby". Now, I am not arguing the point, it's true I am chubby. However, no one has ever said it. I think I needed to hear it, so to speak. My husband always tells me I look great even though I have gained weight....I gained it bearing his children, after all. To finally hear the truth has opened my eyes and made me really rethink some of my eating decisions. So, although it was painful to hear, thank you.

Day One Core 11/1/05:

1 WW pecan mound (1 pt)

Homemade Chicken/Veggie soup

Tri-tip steak, trimmed
Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrot mix

Homemade Pumpkin Pie (5 pt) -----the kids made it and made me eat it! :)

Weekly points used: 6/35

Considering the whole pie was sitting in my fridge and the enormous amount of Halloween candy in my house, I did pretty damn good...IMHO

Ground Zero

I have switched over to the Core program. It seems like less of a hassle and easier to maintain after I lose the weight. What I post is actually from the day before, so I can do each day in its entirety. So, here is yesterday....It was Halloween, and I had not switched to Core yet...So, day one of Core will be today, but posted tomorrow. I was way off program, but felt like I should still post it because normally I would just scratch that day which just leads to day after day of scratching days.......
